What We Build

A railing is the piece your hand reaches for every morning. The frame around your view from the loft. The line that says "this is a finished space."

We build railings for luxury homes, waterfront cottages, commercial stairwells, heritage properties, and everything between. Interior and exterior. Steel, aluminum, stainless, glass, cable, oak. Each one designed for the space, fabricated in our shop, and installed by the same team.

Cable Railing Systems

Horizontal lines that disappear into the view

Our cable railing systems use stainless steel cable tensioned through powder-coated steel or aluminum posts. The result is a railing that provides full code-compliant safety while preserving open sightlines across lofts, stairwells, and second-floor hallways. We build these in white, black, and raw stainless finishes to match any interior palette.

The white powder-coated cable system shown here wraps an open loft in a luxury coastal home near Shediac, running continuously from the stairwell through the second-floor hallway. Every post is plumb, every cable tensioned uniformly, every termination clean. This is the railing style we build most often for new construction and modern renovations.

Glass Panel Systems

Frameless glass for lofts, balconies, and commercial stairwells

Tempered glass panel railings deliver the most open feel possible. We fabricate the steel or stainless post systems in our shop, then install the glass on-site with precision hardware. Black steel posts with frameless glass panels are the most popular residential configuration. For commercial projects, we build full stainless steel and glass systems that meet institutional building codes.

We have installed glass railing systems on residential loft edges, restaurant staircases with exposed stone walls, and multi-story commercial stairwells. The steel post-to-glass connection is engineered for rigidity and safety, and the frameless edge gives the installation a clean, minimal profile whether viewed from above or below.

Ornamental Iron

Gates, fences, and perimeter enclosures for heritage and estate properties

Ornamental iron is the oldest form of architectural metalwork, and we still build it the traditional way: hand-forged scrolls, arched gate headers, finial pickets, and perimeter fence sections assembled in the shop and installed panel by panel. These projects are most common on heritage Victorian properties, estate entrances, and municipal playgrounds where the iron needs to be both decorative and secure.

The driveway gate shown here anchors a full ornamental iron perimeter fence at a heritage property in southeastern New Brunswick. The arched gate with scroll details matches a gazebo enclosure on the same lot. Every piece is hot-dip galvanized or primed and painted for long-term durability in maritime weather.

Custom & One-of-a-Kind

Designs that exist nowhere else, built for a single space

Some of our best work comes from clients who want something that has never been built before. Geometric herringbone patterns. Flowing organic curves inspired by a log cabin's wood grain. Oak and steel combinations with vertical bars that echo the wainscoting in a new build. These railings are designed in conversation with the homeowner, mocked up in the shop, and refined until every line is right.

The artistic curved railing shown here was designed for a rustic log cabin interior where a traditional straight-bar railing would have clashed with the organic architecture. The flowing black steel curves contrast deliberately with the heavy timber, turning a safety requirement into the centerpiece of the room. This is the kind of project we build because we are a welding shop, not a railing catalog.

Railings are just one part of what we build

Most railing projects connect to a staircase, a balcony, or a structural frame we also fabricated. When one team handles everything from the steel spine to the finished handrail, the result is tighter tolerances, fewer callbacks, and a single point of accountability.

Your railing should be the detail people notice first.

Tell us what you are building. We will measure, design, fabricate, and install a railing system that fits the space and exceeds the code.
